Bryan Knox

Bryan Knox has been licensed to sell land in Nebraska since 2007 and has a strong record of successful land sales.

He grew up working on the family farm near Jackson, NE. and graduated from Emerson Hubbard High School in 1984. He felt the call of duty to serve his nation, so at the age of 17 enlisted in the US Air Force. He served 12 years in the Command and Control of US spy aircraft and nuclear missiles. After the Air Force, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa.

Bryan lives in Wausa, NE with his wife of 35 years, Shannon. They have 3 married daughters and 2 “active” grandsons. Bryan finds great joy in taking the grandsons camping and teaching them an appreciation of the outdoors.

Alec Horton

Alec Horton lives in Leoti, Kansas and is a licensed real estate salesperson specializing in Farm and Ranch Real Estate.  Alec is a fourth-generation farmer from Leoti, where he grew up loving the land and helping alongside his dad and two brothers on the family farm.

K-State is Alec’s alma mater. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy with a minor in Plant Pathology and is a Certified Crop Advisor. In college, Alec won national honors as a part of a weeds judging team. A fun memory is winning the K-State grilling competition with his barbequed cupcake chicken.

After college Alec married his wife Molly and moved back to Leoti to continue to help operate and grow the family farm.

They have been blessed with two beautiful children, Harlow, and Brigham.

Long Days spent at the lake with friends and family, vacationing in the winter, and Sunday mornings with his family are a few of Alec’s favorite things.

Henry Schenker

Henry Schenker is a real estate broker for AgWest Land Brokers based out of Franklin, Nebraska.  Henry is a licensed and practicing attorney in the State of Nebraska with significant experience in the areas of real estate, business, agricultural, tax law, and estate planning.  He also serves as the Franklin County Attorney.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and French from Lake Forest College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina.  He is multilingual and is able to assist sellers and buyers in English, Spanish, and French.

Henry is an Eagle Scout and enjoys hiking, horses, playing piano, and nature.  He lives in Hildreth with his wife Marcia and two blue heelers, Thor and Dierks.  He loves the land, farming, and ranching, and looks forward to helping sellers and buyers get the best possible result out of each and every transaction.

Ross Poyser

Born and raised in Harlan County, Nebraska, Ross Poyser grew up around agriculture and has been involved since an early age. Ross and his wife, Jessetta, now live near Republican City, Nebraska.

Ross attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness. Upon graduating from UNK, Ross returned to Harlan County to work for Nebraskaland Aviation and manage the Alma airport location, along with selling fertilizer and chemical.

Ross values the opportunity to be able to work with farmers and ranchers. In his free time, Ross enjoys spending time at the Harlan County Reservoir, golfing, and being outdoors. Ross looks forward to developing new relationships and assisting with all your land needs.

Alyson Weathers

Alyson was born and raised in Clarks, Nebraska on her family’s farm, where they raise corn, soybeans, and cattle.  After graduating high school from High Plains Community in 2004, she attended school at Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska then transferred to UNL to continue studying Ag Business/Animal Science. Alyson also pursued a degree in nursing and has been working in the healthcare field for the last several years.

Alyson has always been involved in agriculture and is a big supporter of 4-H and FFA, which her daughter is active in.  Alyson and her significant other, Justin, are raising their own herd of commercial cattle and are active on Justin’s family’s ranch where they raise cattle, hay and wheat.

Alyson is excited to join Ag West Land Brokers as a farm and ranch specialist, and serve the farmers and ranchers of southwest Nebraska with their land needs!

Stephanie Fahrenbruch

Steph Fahrenbruch grew up in Sidney, Iowa, and now resides with her family in Holdrege, Nebraska. She graduated from Sidney High School in 2004 and went on to attend Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science and Wellness with a Spanish minor in 2007. Since graduating, she has held various positions in healthcare, banking, and business.

Steph joined AgWest Land Brokers in September of 2019. Her primary role is to develop marketing material and manage online platforms for the land brokers to successfully market their properties to potential buyers.

Growing up in rural southwest Iowa, she is familiar with the agriculture community. She is married to her husband Chris, who has been a broker/cash advisor for AgWest Commodities since 2006. Together they have a son, Cooper. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, playing board games, and spending time with her family and dog, Titan.

Mikayla Boge

Mikayla was born into the agriculture industry and has never left! She spent part of her life growing up in Northwest Iowa on her family’s farm where they raised hogs and grew corn and soybeans. Her family also owned and operated Nelson Products – the world’s largest baby pig feeder manufacturer, giving Mikayla a glimpse into corporate business at a young age that would influence her in her future endeavors. In middle school, her family moved to Southeast Kansas. There, her family kept a small acreage where they raised cattle and horses, while still traveling to Northwest Iowa for spring planting and fall harvest.

Mikayla went on to attend Kansas State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Animal Science in 2011 and received her Masters of Agricultural Communication from Oklahoma State University in 2015. Throughout her career, Mikayla has held various marketing and public relations roles in the equine industry and animal health sector. She obtained her Kansas Real Estate License in 2020. Her unique blend and involvement in the agriculture industry, along with her marketing expertise, are skills Mikayla brings to help farmers and ranchers with their real estate needs.

In her spare time, Mikayla can be found outside with her animals. She is an avid team roper and never misses a chance to spend time in the saddle. She currently lives in Fort Scott, Kansas, but recently bought an acreage in central Kansas. She looks forward to turning her property into a small horse facility where she will raise and ride horses for years to come.

Mark Gustafson

Mark Gustafson grew up on the family farm in northwest Hamilton County.  After graduating from Aurora High School, he attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Mark’s work experience includes: Operating the family’s crop and livestock farm; Credit Manager/Marketing Manager of a large Central Nebraska Coop; Professional Farm Manager in Central Nebraska; Selling Farm and Ranch real estate. He has been a licensed Real Estate Salesman since 1984 and an Associate Broker since 1987.  He most recently managed farms and assisted Sellers and Buyers of farm and ranch real estate in south-central Nebraska for an established farm management company.  A long list of satisfied clients/customers, vendors, and farm operators is a testimony to the trust and confidence that he builds with each person with whom he conducts business.

Mark and his wife, Kristi, live in Hastings and attend Northshore Church.  They have three daughters with families and six grandchildren, which are the joy of their lives.

Kory Koch

Farm & Ranch Specialist

Kory Koch, was raised in the Shickley Nebraska area, and now resides in Davenport, Nebraska. Kory attended Southeast Community College in Beatrice, graduating with an Associate Degree in Ag Business. He has worked in the Ag Industry from the local farm to managing elevators for Gavilon in 3 different states.

He currently farms near Davenport. He has two children, Lauryn and Kyler. He is a proud supporter of the local FFA, Cattlemen’s Ball, his kids 4-H projects and all other activities his kids participate in. He loves to fish, play golf, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Kory has a wealth of experience and knowledge in production agriculture. With Kory’s background, he is a great asset to his clients in the buying and selling of farmland and pastures.

 

Barry Geweke

Farm and Ranch Specialist

Barry Geweke grew up in rural Valley County, Nebraska where he worked in a horse training operation while growing up. Barry has practiced law for over 20 years in Ord, NE and also works on management of a family ranch.

Barry’s interests include participating in prescribed burns, training retrievers, hunting, running and spending time with his family. Barry enjoys working with farmers, ranchers and people interested in buying and selling land whether farm, ranch, recreational or acreage.
