Matt Broz was born in southwest Nebraska and raised in Hayes County where he grew up on his family’s fifth-generation farm. From mowing the church cemetery to cleaning grain bins, he learned the value of hard work early and stayed involved in the operation—helping with hogs, cattle, and crop production—while also participating in FFA and 4-H.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and, after working in his field of study, returned to the family farm in 2011. He later completed the Nebraska LEAD Program, expanding his knowledge of agriculture and building connections across the state. Before obtaining his real estate license, Matt worked in agricultural lending—giving him a strong understanding of financing and the realities producers face. Today, he brings both a lender’s perspective and firsthand farm experience to help clients confidently buy and sell agricultural real estate.
Matt and his wife, Sara, live in McCook with their four children—Noah, Vince, Quint, and Campbell. Sara has worked at the local hospital as an occupational therapist for the past 16 years. Together, they stay active in the community through sports, cheer, FFA, and church activities, and they enjoy volunteering their time and talents with local organizations.
