Joel Grams, was raised in the Upland Nebraska area, now lives south of Minden. A fourth generation farmer, Joel grew up helping his father and 3 brothers on the family farming operation, and is still farming in the Upland area, with one of his sons, and one brother, raising pivot irrigated corn and soybeans.

Joel served on the Nebraska Corn Growers Association board of directors for 15 years, and served as president of the association for 2 years. Joel also was a group leader for the associations leadership development program that took young association members to Washington DC to meet with members of congress and other industry groups.

Joel and his wife Laura have 5 children, Lindsay, Spencer and his wife Brittany, Brandon, Logan and Zach. In his spare time Joel enjoys playing golf and riding his motorcycle.
